When I found out I was pregnant, my husband, Archie, and I were probably the happiest we'd ever been.

We'd been trying for almost two years, and Archie was especially excited about becoming a dad.

The doctor stared at the screen before smiling.

He still came to appointments and helped me, but the excitement was gone.
