Adrian Saw Everything Through The Mansion Window—And His Briefcase Hit The Marble Before He Ran.
Through the mansion window, his two children were crying in the backyard.
Lily was only four.
Baby Noah was screaming in her arms.
And Vanessa was dragging them toward the old doghouse like they meant nothing.
Lily tried to protect her baby brother.
She held him tight.
She begged.

But Vanessa locked them inside and smiled.
Then Adrian dropped his briefcase and ran.
He burst through the glass doors, shoved Vanessa aside, and ripped open the doghouse latch with shaking hands.
Lily clung to him, still holding Noah.
That was when Adrian looked at Vanessa and finally saw the truth.
