Evelyn shoved the folded napkin into Gilbert's chest.

"Get that to Lorenzo.

Table Four.

Right now."

Gilbert stared at her like she'd lost her mind.

"Are you out of your—"

"Right now, Gilbert."

He snatched it from her hand, muttering under his breath.

Evelyn watched from behind the service column, her back pressed flat against the wall, her eyes on the clock.

**8:53.**

She saw Gilbert lean down and place the folded square beside Lorenzo's wineglass.

Lorenzo didn't look up.

He kept talking to Celeste, his voice low, his expression unreadable.

Then his hand moved.

One finger slid the napkin off the table.

He didn't open it.

He didn't react.

Two of his men shifted without a word.

The table began to clear.

Her jaw tightened.

Just for a second.

Then she looked straight across the room.

Straight at Evelyn.

And in that moment, Evelyn understood — Celeste didn't know who had warned him.

But she was going to find out.
